Some remote schools only have grade 1-5. Students can only repeat grade 5 after finishing grade 5. If they want to get higher education, they have to leave families to other places far away and endure loneliness. Their parents even have to borrow a big amount of money for children to study.
SCH sign a memorandum of cooperation with schools, and cooperate with schools, local governments, communities to jointly upgrade schools in mountainous areas. SCH also helps to hire and support teachers’ salary so that school has enough professional staffs to provide students good quality education. Thus, mountain children can stay in village and upgrade 6, 7, 8… without leaving their families far away. It also helps to cultivate local talents and improve the overall level of education in mountainous areas.
